After TIA (mini-stroke): Proper massage?

TIAs can cause a lot of worry to the person having them. Simply lightly carressing her shoulders, or patting her hands is enough. You want to give her reassurance that she is loved. A gentle hug, a caress is sufficient. Don't do any big massage effort, because you could do damage by rubbing hard anywhere, for example, a blood clot could move toward the heart. Yes, massage does give relief but not in these cases.
