Should I stay in this motel?

Me and my new wife just got married and are going on our honeymoon to a town 35 miles outside Birmingham (she likes Southern people because she thinks they are cute) but we are staying at this motel that charges $27.99 a night and is rated top tier by the county bureau on vacation but all the reviews say bad things like you wont get toilet paper, no clean sheets, bring pepper spray, the a/c does not work unless you pay for the penthouse, nobody has been mugged for weeks, etc. I am second guessing. what do you think? First honeymoon thanks yall.
